Conventional "silicon carbide" products refer to sintered silicon carbide ceramic with varying degrees of purity/quality.  These cyrstalline SiC parts pick up where the top end of that range leaves off, with physical and thermal properties well in advance of the ceramics.

    The polycrystalline pillar is fantastic and the taste is amazing. Compared to standard sic there really isn’t much of a difference they both take the same temps but the poly is slightly a cleaner hit. That being said cant wait to try the mono sic because its top quality.
