Sapphire Care Instructions:

Inspect sapphire part before first use and contact us to resolve any concerns; once sapphire has been used there is no replacement warranty offered. Correct use requires following care instructions.

Handle with Care: Sapphire is resistant against scratches and corrosion but will not withstand impact or thermal shock.

Heat with Care: Sapphire withstands high temperatures and retains heat, it is important that heat be evenly distributed; when introduced to rapid temperature changes breaks occur from thermal shock. 

Electric Heat Use:
When discolored from use, sapphire should be cleaned by heating at 850F to clear residue, then cooled to room temperature for liquid cleaning with iso alcohol and/or distilled water. Frequent cleaning will reduce cleaning time. Never apply liquid to hot sapphire

Torch Use:
Do not apply direct torch heat to sapphire.
Evenly heat all surface areas of sapphire.
Never apply liquids to hot sapphire.
